Drone Repair

How does it work?

  • Please fill out the recovery request form below
  • We will send you a confirmation with a unique repair number; please keep this number in a safe place and include it in all correspondence.
  • You can then ship the drone using the DPD label we’ll send you, or schedule an appointment to drop it off.
  • We will provide you with an estimate for the repair if you request one; otherwise, the repair will be carried out immediately. To request an estimate, please clearly indicate this by placing a piece of paper with the quote details inside the box.
    • The estimate—and later, the invoice as well—always includes the following items
      • The Analysis / Preliminary Review
      • The parts that are being replaced
      • Cost per hour worked
      • Calibration: drone / Camera / Controller
      • Internal and external cleaning of a drone
  • If a quote is requested and no repair is to be performed, a standard analysis fee of 75.00 euros (excluding VAT) will be charged.
  • Once payment has been received, you can have your repaired drone shipped to you or schedule an appointment to pick it up

Repairs

  • All damage is always repaired
  • All sensors and electronic components are checked to ensure they are functioning properly and are recalibrated
  • The latest firmware is installed on the drone, Batterij, and remote controller
  • Complete inspection and flight test

Administration

  • We will not return the repaired item until we have received payment of the invoice
  • You receive a 3-month warranty on all repaired parts
  • DroneDepot is not responsible for flights conducted after the repairs
  • If payment for the repair is not received within 90 business days, the drone will become the property of DroneDepot

What do you do?

Step 1: Submit a repair request
Step 2: Mail or bring in the drone for repair

To ensure a thorough repair, we ask that you always send or bring in your drone along with your remote controller and at least one Batterij. Pack all of this in a small box, making sure your drone and parts are well-protected in bubble wrap or air cushions to prevent damage during transport. Always attach the Gimbal lock (if available) to your Gimbal! And be sure to include your Gimbal protector as well. Even if your Gimbal is broken, please include these two items so we can return the drone with the Gimbal lock and protector attached. If these items aren’t included, they’ll be provided (additional charges will be added to your quote).

If you choose to send your drone:

  • We will send you a DPD shipping label via email (We insure all our shipments up to a maximum of €500.00.)
  • Print out this label and attach it to your package containing your well- and securely-packed parts
  • Drop off your package at a DPD location
